Very thick and warm, the Strawberry Festival T-shirt is probably the most hippie-ish shirt I own. All those wavy-type letters and strawberries everywhere and they are coming out of one of those old-timey gumball machines, for goodness sakes. The shirt says that the festival is held in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. You can trust it, folks; I looked it up myself. The city passed a resolution announcing itself the "Strawberry Capitol of the World." Apparently they grow a lot of them there. Oddly enough, I read in the paper recently of a crazy cult in some church there. It got shut down. I guess there's something in the strawberries that they're eating.
