I bet this was a great T-shirt in context. It probably embodied some ideal and represented a large group of people banding together to remember their cultural heritage. Now, it is casually worn by an unknowing college student around campus (that's me). I'm not sure to what culture this is referring, but, from the look of that person, I'd guess that culture is from Africa. I'll end by asking you what you think the person (who looks like a woman) is holding in the picture. Initially, I thought she was spreading her arms to reveal the sun. Now, I'm more inclined to think she is carefully balancing an arch of fifteen oversized Bugles. With that perspective, it's pretty impressive. No more quotes about shirts! Ever!
